Introduction

Teens around the world can connect now through the Internet. As English becomes more widely spoken around the world, and as more teens have access to the net, they can unite to prevent wars.

Children and teens don't want wars. They don't own the factories that make the weapons. They don't profit from the sale of arms. They don't hate people from other parts of the world or other religions.

Now with the Internet teens can unite and really begin to change the world even before they have reached the voting age in their countries. As soon as they are given the right to vote they will have even more influence on the laws regarding education, teen rights, etc.

If you are a teen and would like to be part of this, please write to us.

Thanks.

Let Teens Live in Peace

Currently, in most countries, the first time a teenager can get a passport and travel to another country without their parents' permission is 18.

What would happen if they were allowed to leave a country at war before that age? What if the United Nations would declare it a crime against humanity to force teenagers to live in a country at war until they are 18? Or to force them to enter the military?

Maybe many young people would choose to leave and live in peace somewhere else.

Maybe eventually there would be no one left to fight the wars and everyone would choose peace.

Wars Start in Kindergarten

Wars start in kindergarten when many children around the world begin to be systematically taught the deadly beliefs and predjudices of the adults in their countries and religions.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today.

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace.

John Lennon
From the song Imagine
